Key Responsibilities
The Chief Field Office (NO-3) will:

Lead UNICEF’s operations in Monterrey and coordinate with state and municipal authorities.

Oversee programme development, monitoring, and evaluation.

Manage staff, assets, and programme funds.

Drive child-centered advocacy and partnership building.
-
Ensure programmes align with UNICEF’s global and national strategy.
Required Qualifications

Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in social sciences, international relations, public policy, community development, or a related field.

Experience: At least five years of professional work experience in programme management, planning, monitoring, and evaluation (preferably with child-rights related programmes).

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience may also be considered.

Regional Experience: Knowledge of or experience working in Northern Mexico.

Languages: Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
Desirable qualifications:

Prior experience in the UN system or humanitarian work.

Background in emergency response.
